Can you replicate the bug? I was able to replicate it on two PC'southward meaning its not a isolated incident.
Edit: Perfomed clean boot merely bug still exist.
How to replicate information technology:
- Become the music folder and copy a music that has an album art by holding down "ctrl" and dragging it to the desktop. The copied mp3 file won't have an album art.
- Now re-create the mp3 file in the music folder by holding downwards "ctrl" and and then dragging information technology anywhere in the music binder. A mp3 file with the name "re-create" will be created. Now move the file to the desktop and the album art will exist copied over.

How-do-you-do,
Nosotros were unable to replicate the issue from our stop.
You may follow the steps and check with the issue.

I already did that. No difference. Do y'all understand how to replicate the trouble? Also, I was talking virtually album art and not the minor preview of the image. The preview of all image files and pdf files works OK.
Can you tell me the steps y'all did.
Since I can replicate it on two PC's hateful that the problem is not isolated to one PC (Dell laptop & HP desktop). I have Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) with ALL updates and software installed (like latest .nets). The but hardware mutual on both PC is the ATI graphic bill of fare.
List of user software (present on both PC):
- SpywareBlaster
- Inspiration 7.half dozen
- Norton Cyberspace Security 2012 (latest version with all updates installed)
- Paint.Net
- Microsoft Role 2007 (Educatee)
- Logitech SetPoint
- Microsoft Keyboard (itype)
- Microsoft LifeCam
- Adobe Flash & Adobe Shockwave
- Tracker PDF Xchange viewer (PDF reader)
- QuickTime
- AMD VISION Engine Command Center and other graphic card updates (ATI Catalyst package)
- Latest version of Silverlight (5.0.61118.0)
- WOT (web of trust) for Internet Explorer
- Java 6 Update 32
- ieSpell.
- Internet Explorer 9
I volition run into if I can replicate this in a PC store PC
Edit: It looks similar when copying the music file directly to the desktop (using ctrl+drag), the album art is not carried over to the new file. Merely if I re-create information technology in the music binder first and and so movement it over, the anthology art is.
Edit: The problem is NOT not being able to see the album fine art in the music folder. That is OK. Nor is information technology unable to see the anthology art in the other folders. Its merely that music files that are but copied over to the other folders does non display the album art. The "original" music file and music files that are offset copied in the music folder so moved out display the album fine art. Just music files that are simply copied to another folder doesn't (the copied file that is non the original).

I found role of the cause. With "bought" music, the album art works OK. Simply for ripped music or one "converted" and take the album art added by Windows Media Histrion, the trouble occurs.
Use this music file: https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B1Tan13i1a63OHRIMTVmRG9mTlE
Then salvage it to your music folder and employ WMP to detect the album. Once you see the anthology art on the file, echo the steps.

I did not set the problem but now found out this is probably a issues with Windows 7 and/or Windows Media Player. I was able to replicate it with several of the stores pcs. This problem happens when Windows Media Player adds the music album encompass. The cover is non brought forth when the file is copied from music folder to another binder. To attempt this employ the music file I hosted at Google drive and repeat the steps given in the previous mail service.
